About the event
Our Picnic in the Trees have gotten spooky! Collect your picnic boxes from the Apres Tree Cafe in the barn and head out through the pumpkins and in amongst the trees to enjoy your sweet and savoury treats.Â
Adult picnic box includes a delicious hot savoury pasty of your choice, a cake of your choice, scone with jam and cream and a drink of your choice, either a hot drink, cold drink or a hot mulled apple cider - 3.4%. Â Children will receive a halloweeny picnic box for children including sandwich or sausage roll, crisps, biscuits and either a children's hot chocolate or a drink.
For a limited time, book a Picnic in the Trees slot and receive a free 'Who Killed John Jack Rainford? A Whodunnit Trail' for the whole group to complete once you have finished your picnic. Will you be able to finish the cake and solve the clues? The trail should take approximately 45 minutes through the trees.
Our picnic tables comfortably fit 6 people. If you would like to combine bookings with another family, let us know.
This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately for the autumn weather. It will go ahead whatever the weather. Waterproofs and strudy shoes are advisable. Bring a blanket and get cosy! We do however have a limited number of tables inside if you would prefer to be by the log fire.
