About the event

Can you help us finally solve mystery of Who killed John Jack Rainford? Armed with a trail map and clue sheet, follow the instructions past our pumpkins and through into the trees to take part in our whodunnit trail. But this time you'll have some help courtesy of the cast of the Bookworm Players Theatre Company.

Meet our friendly Detective who will set the scene as you enter the trees. You'll bump into scarecrows along the way who may be able to help you work out the clues... or will they hinder? A fun, interactive, guided trail taking the mystery of 'Who killed John Jack Rainford?' to the next level! We are so excited for this one!

We've changed it up, so if you wish to do the INTERACTIVE guided trail too, the suspect and the demise will be different to our regular trail walk.

The trail and the clues are best described as Scooby Doo level of scary!! So if you were always one step ahead of those meddling kids, this is the trail you! It is suitable for the whole family, however will be especially enjoyed by ages 5+

You can arrive ANY TIME within the time slot on your ticket. The trail should take approximately 45 mins to complete but you are welcome to take as long as you need. This is an outdoor trail through our trees, dress for the autumn weather - waterproofs and sturdy boots or wellies are recommended. Tickets are extremely limited for the 6 guided trails across half term, so please book early to avoid disappointment!

Look for clues along the way, and if you manage to work out the suspect and how he met his end, report back to the Apres Tree Cafe in the barn to claim your dectective medal (included in a child's ticket).
